During the US Army's presence in Germany, it was part of the American military infrastructure.
The fuel and supply warehouse in the new Würzburg port is now owned by Tyczka Industrie-Gase GmbH, a container company and a hardware store.
This transition reflects the changes that have taken place over the years, moving from a military supply depot to a commercial property.
