Zwischen 2006 und 2014 verließ die US-Armee Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Kitzingen und Giebelstadt.
Die Fotos zeigen die Kaserne kurz nach dem Verlassen, in Zeiten des Stillstandes und auch nach dem Umbau in z.B. Stadtteile, Universitätserweiterungen oder Gewerbegebiete.
Between 2006 and 2014, the US Army vacated Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Kitzingen, and Giebelstadt.
The photos show the barracks shortly after the vacancy, during periods of inactivity, and also after their conversion into, for example, urban districts, university expansions, or industrial parks.
The Larson Barracks was a former military garrison near Kitzingen in Bavaria. It served first as a military base for Nazi Germany from 1936 to 1945 and then for the United States from 1945 to 2006 before being returned to the German government in 2007.
Photos from Larson Barracks shortly after her departure at various intervals through 2020, excluding the area since its takeover by operator Connect! is closed to the public.
